I've spent a day on the excavator digging trenchs etc, i now feel liberated from sitting around scratching my arse.
Finally received my new front OEM fender from KTM for the 990 ADV - two hundred and three of your Earth pounds! As we say up here "MONTYFUCKPAL!" I have not yet unpacked it as I am assuming for that price the unit is self installing. Bandits! I always knew that KTM was an Austrian TLA for "really fucking expensive"....then I bought a Ducati! Now I understand why SWMBO says, "you're a dafty and will never learn...". Hurumph.
No floor in the back room, no ceiling either. No kitchen as it’s in the skip, no kitchen ceiling. Still have half the floor though, luxury! No Tv as everything from the back room is filling the front room...and the hall. So I have a two bed two bathroom flat all of a sudden. Today the radiators had to go, to make way for holes and pins in the back walls. I did manage to pull an electric oil filled radiator from its hiding place though. None of that I mind but I can tell you one thing. Microwaved Teriyaki and Chow Mien are flavourless shite. I’d rather have soup or beans with toast. No wonder the Mrs has taken refuge at her dads place. Poor old girl, no dad, no home. We’ve had worse, we survived 2020. Think I’ll get some T shirts done with that printed on it.
The most important bit what i can see in the above photograph is that you've already a motorbike ramp made up the winter period.
I do fancy another ride today as it's dry down this way but still bloody cold out there, of course this is after a site meeting regarding progress.
I’m broken now. Or at least my back is. But the garden is starting to look nice again. Now waiting on a lawn scarifier/aerator to be delivered later this afternoon so that’ll be tomorrow’s little job no doubt.
Westie passed The IVA test today, just need to register, number plates and tax. Then happy summer motoring with SWMBO. 1 year in the building a real blast to drive, steering is super sensitive, corners like its on rails. definite wind on the face driving.
