I always thought that it was dark and that explains why the police couldn't find my bike. It is dull but not dark - she was certainly on her 'phone and I so wish that we could prove it. Not to make the driver suffer any more but her insurance company. Then my sol could wipe all the sh1t aside....
So you had time to see the driver was on a mobile phone... but not time to react to the potential hazard or even better as you approached anticipate the developing hazard... might be worth watching the video or the more modern one rather than all the political shoit waffle that this has attracted!
Yes, I think they were called comstars. When I say great bike I really mean the engine was a peach, loads of character. I loved it.
I never saw anything that I can remember. The Police pulled her phone record (I dunno if this is routine) and found that she made a call to home as she left work. Obviously they have the time and duration of the call but as there where no witnesses, nobody can say precisely what time the accident took place. She would of called the ambulance but the police didn't have enough evidence to do her for anything more than driving without due care. I am no help as I can't remember what time I left work or if I stopped for petrol (which did sometimes happen). And whether I practised wheelies on the way.
