Either that or people with mild/no side effects is because their immune system is like “is that all you’ve got.....feck off”
That’s it now Alan Bill Gates knows everything you think and can watch the world through your eyes........the poor ucka
Feel ok today, it's 4 days since the jab and I'm hoping that's that for the side effects. Had shits and really bad guts for two hours last night then It went, it were like it were switched off. not sure which was worse for me, the covid or the vaccine, had both and both put me on my arse.
I received the Moderna first shot this AM. I was not looking for it, it was just offered and I went with it. No side effects to speak of. Although as with some other shots in the past I could actually feel it go through me in the first 15 minutes sort of, if that makes sense. Seems if you leave Atlanta and go for a drive into the mountains where I like to ride they have plenty. I drove someone else to a church up there to get it... Walked in and they offered it to me on the spot. all I needed to do was fill out one page and show ID. Besides seeing people in masks and lower capacity in restaurants most things here seem close to normal... Remember I already worked from home 97% of the time for a looong time. Except for socializing at night... I kicked the GF to the curb around Sept or Oct. I have not attempted to date since. Not afraid of the virus, just not wanting to deal with any extra hassles. So while many of our bars are open, only a few have had live bands and stuff. From what I see here and especially over there this summer will be wild. People are tired of the scaring and lockdowns. and now care much more about the rest of their lives. Which i thought was the correct move all along. And yes i am sorry for those that have personally lost someone. But I might have too, still might. But it would not change my mind. And while we have "rules" about wearing masks I never see it enforced in the times I am out. I just read that France is going to complete lock down. Scary.
Had my first jab on Tuesday at 1030. By 7pm started developing hot and cold flu like symptoms, shivering, sore arm and muscle and joint pain. General fatigue and my temperature rocketed to 37.9C. Felt decidely unwell but by this morning all good, save for the sore arm. Small price to pay if in the event, it actually stoves off the chances of a Covid infection developing into an admittance to ICU.
So 48hrs in and no side effects other than my arms a little tender to touch Mrs’s side effects were mild, a little headache a bit fatigued, like a hangover she said, cleared after a couple days. I believe me and the mrs may have had covid back in January though? Felt right odd, fever, fatigue, no appetite, loss of taste/strange metallic taste, worst of it lasted about 4/5 days and about another week or so to get back to normal, and mrs came down with same about 2 days behind me and hers lingered a little longer. We both went for a test but came back negative but I’m not wholly sure the test was accurate because we had to do it ourselves and despite following the instructions I don’t think I stuffed the swab far enough up my nose. A friend of mine works in ICU and they had a patient in there with classic symptoms but had 2 negative tests in hospital. Big guy, in his 40’s, built like a brick shithouse, she tested him and said: “Right, sit in that chair and grip the arms firmly because after what I’m about to do your going to want to punch me the fuck out!” She then proceeded to stick the swab up his nose, far further than anyone else had he said afterwards and low and behold a positive result?
Hope the second dose is better 4 you than the first, but you do have Motogp round two this weekend for an over extended recovery period if required.I noticed your name written down on the card but i'd to write my own name on top of mine....lazy bastards what do they do all day these people. P'S love the Italian wedding photographs.
I had a covid test last week and yes!!!!! That swab goes a long way and it bloody hurts!!!! Twice I had to do it I had to grab the bed because I wanted to grab her arm and stop her. My nose felt like it was swollen for the rest of the day and felt like something was stuck in it.
Sorry have i put my foot in it again,...all that Italian romance to seal the deal, i do hate bloody fickle birds.
