Hi All, I'm a new and very proud owner of a 2006 S2R 800 although it won't be delivered for a week or so.(Service and check over from the dealer + delivery) Will be looking to tap into your expertise and advice but don't panic, i know how to use forum search features! I've had a 14yr break from riding but am finally getting back in the saddle. Having never owned, but always desired a Ducati, i'm hoping i've made a good choice for my 1st. All the best. Damo.
hi I take it you get the ferry to the mainland for a day out lol. I can imagine your gonna run out of places to go lol ???

Oh no we try not to mix with them there mainland folk...haha. :tongue: I'm definitely hoping to stretch its legs over the water but the island does offer some nice back road routes. Just the road surfaces that can be shocking!! Cheers Steve, give me a shout if you venture this way!
Brought up in Southampton and lived in Bembridge for a time. Had many a grand day out biking on the Island
Thanks for the welcome guys, Military road is the most popular for sure, the council even saved some pennies to re-surface some of it. Counting down the days for delivery. Hopefully we'll have a few more dry days this year.
