I’m blocked by a couple of members( fnarr fnarr) However it seems the forums blocking function is faulty as occasionally I get to see their posts. Anyone else have this issue?
Depends whether you using a phone & your logged in. I can only guess those members who don't like you probably don't support the site even with £5. Which is telling how they deal with places & people.
I don’t use the forum from my phone and I’m always logged in, so it’s the forums end that’s unstable. I don’t log in and out to see what those who’ve blocked me have said or their status re paying members or not. Usually their avatar picture is shown and their name becomes unknown member when they post something. Just today I noticed I also see their postings which I thought odd. Thank you for your input though.
Wait, so on a public forum someone who does not like me can make me not see content that I may want to see? That sounds like a "Hide" button. No matter, alternate user Id's are easy enough if you care to sneak around I guess.
Kind of. I know at least one who has me on block. If he posts last on a thread, it comes up as his forum name on the today’s thread list then it just says unknown and no content. So you can’t see what they wrote as they have you on block.
I think there is a way to check some of this. But I never look. I believe there is someone who actually follows me... I think it popped up once, and then I saw it clicking through stuff. No matter to me really. I just post honestly, and defend my country when appropriate. Hell, half of the stuff that Z head 4 sex and I "speak" about really matters to me here... BUT I will defend my shit. No matter, if you are blocking me you are missing the fun. If someone bothers you that much you should probably stay OFF the Internet On Edit I just looked at my avatar? Alas the forum and internet in general does not give the option of passing over a smack in the mouth, if it did - there would be far less keyboard heroism in general. The next best option it does allow is to allow you block the person that pushes your buttons. Its like an eco-friendly version of not letting them wind you up I am not sure why being a subscriber or not should affect that view though ?
I may be blocked by hundreds. How would I know? Do they reply to your posts telling you to F.Off as you are blocked - which proves that it doesn't work. I don't get this blocking thing - as you may of guessed....
I’m blocked by 2 you know if you scroll through a thread and the post number jumps or also the blocker has a good cry about something you posted and announces it to you. A little like announcing an aircraft departing . They’ll also appear as unknown member but still show you their avatar on the thread list. Blocking means they don’t see your posts but can see a thread you start and post in that thread. Ignore means you get to see their posts but they don’t see your posts. Hope this has helped.
