Yep my kids I had a smaller plate that was my boys dinner it looked better. Haven’t had cheese cake yet
I didn't fancy a rideout today and nodding to other riders as i'd four rides in the week, so i did some bits on the bike instead.
That looks borked, take it off your hands for a ton, bonus then is no more nodding at other strange folk. I gave up nodding to other bikers a long time ago, quaint though.
lucky enough to see an 8.32 Thema drive past me with gusto near Ascot, thought of one Barry Waterhouse, the rascal. Just did a vehicle check and MOT expired 3rd October!
Very square styling and not my bag but each to their own & whatever floats your boat or car for that matter..
As it’s been snowing this morning and it’s sub zero temperatures outside, today I will mostly be stopping indoors with the heating on watching the football
This was their version of the "4-way-split/floorpan" large people carrier, so styling was not really a consideration, but, by far, was the most exciting car of the 4 version in all their various forms, although the 164 Alfa came close. (moo)
Today I was mostly chasing large 749 fairing panels around the garden; having launched a couple in frustration. Totally peeved with the outcome of my 'respray it in my garage' attempt and my failed attempts to strip the clear coat, paint and primer. Not to mention having to gut and clean my garage because the dust sheets may as well have been tea bags. One spoiled day and much chuntering later. Bodyshop here we come.
Thought about clocking up a few more miles this morning before looking out of the window and seeing the snow in the garden... Got the wire brush in the drill and cleaned up the side plates on the 959 chain. Cleaned up with a bit of wd40 on a rag then treated to a bit of lube. Changed the rear rocker from P to F hoping it’ll sort out the bumpy rear feeling I got from the last ride out and while in there, adjusted the gear change lever height as I was struggling to find neutral easy the other day.
Delivered my just sold multi Strada for the next owner as he hadn’t sorted insurance etc. Thought I was going 15 miles but ended up near Chichester! Anyway, despite the cold it was nice to ride it for the last time and it rode beautifully apart from a slightly long rear brake.
