I'm trying to find an AGV K6 helmet that isn't price-gouged and is in stock. At one time, there were some in the EU that shipped to the USA for a reasonable price but, now I'm not finding anything available. Is this just an issue of supply on AGV's production side or, is this COVID related? The only thing I have locally and remotely reasonable in cost is a K3 in MS matte black. I'm thinking an AGV in the EU without VAT may be my best option. Where should I be looking for good service and a good reasonable price? TIA, Sid

Both of those UK based shops are really spendy. I guess BREXIT is hitting the UK pretty hard these days. Champion in the Netherlands can land it at my door with an additional Iridium visor for less. I guess keeping it in the EU saves some transportation and taxation costs for me in the USA. Unfortunately, AGV helmets aren't too popular in the mainstream USA market which is dominated by SHOEI and ARAI in the premium options.
Between covid and Brexit parts and bikes are gone crazy here in Ireland. Kinda sad really as we’d always buy from our neighbours in the Uk. But now it’s just to expensive and slow with customs slowing it right down and adding on taxes and collecting fees by the shipping company
I hope things get better for everyone over there. I've seen several news reports about fruits and vegetables rotting in trucks waiting to clear customs on the French side. Add the two to three days truck drivers and their rigs are off the roads to transportation costs while stuck in customs and I guess it starts to add up on top of extra shipper fees for new paperwork on top of additional taxes. Hopefully, the politicians on both sides can get things worked out so you guys and gals don't get hosed by bureaucratic nonsense for no good reason. Billions of pounds in extraneous fees and surcharges really hurt the average person badly and hold them back from economic prosperity. The politicians and bureaucrats with guanarteed pensions, healthcare, etc. rarely feel these effects so it easy for them to pontificate at the expense of the little guy trying to earn a living and enjoy a few good things in life.
