...Just spent 3.5 hours hours trying to get a wood splinter out of finger...had the sweats the lot...nightmare! Need sympathy please! (resorted to freezing with an ice cube for 30 mins...)
You have my sympathy. I had a wood splinter in the end my finger a few weeks ago and it hurt like feck when I pressed anything. Thank god it only took a few minutes to get it out
Well as a ride out was out of the question because of snow I decided to paint (touch up) a few other areas that needed it in the garden room, whilst SWMBO went to the supermarket. A couple of brownie points have been earned
Worked my nuts off in the cold wind and rain all day. Home now and had a hot shower. Mrs is just cooking a nice big lump of steak. Things don't seem so bad now.

I Had a very lazy day, fitted a new latch lock for the folks and just watched Leinster beat the Exeter Chiefs which was a tight match until it went all wrong for the Chiefs.
Well i'm a Chiefs fan, but Leinster were brilliant at the breakdown and deserved the win, i hoping they would retain their title this year but that's life i guess.
No I decided against that one as it was right next to the A38 with 5 years of work just about to start on it! This is the one, needs a bit of work as they all do but ticks all the boxes!
