Rght, my theory. As McCann and Arnott are using the call signs 37 and 45 surely this is a pointer to the identity of H The same call signs were used by Bodie and Doyle in the 1970s Documentary "The Professionals" about the workings of the counter terrorism and counter intelligence unit, C15. The head of that unit was played by Gordon Jackson who also played Hudson in Upstairs Downstairs. Do I have to spell it out? H is George Cowley.
Not putting el plod in a good light either....top of force saying stuff like 'you're doing it to make me look bad!' ?!
Beyond ridiculous plot. New DI, hard faced women with slick back hair obvs, takes over and closes everything down without any ‘sitrep’ and every copper is bent.... entertaining fiction
I recon there was 2 final episodes recorded based on feedback and ratings as the series unfolded, 1 to end it all, the other leaving much unanswered and openings for characters to make a return, we got the latter.......
I saw the summing up at the end never watched any of them and I was disappointed (I have watched bits via gogglebox)
6 series looking for the super-bent cop and it was some bloke and medium tier management who no one ever really heard of before. Total garbage writing and ending. As disappointing as GOT!
Jesus Mary Joseph and the wee donkey, can we just move this thing along before it drives us all around the bloody bend.
I didn't watch one episode of this series and based upon the reactions received and the fact that I wasn't inclined to even take a peek, I think I know why..... Used my valuable time more wisely: sleeping
