Fitting Ducabike Wheel Nut Without Marking It

  1. I have treated the bike to a Ducabike wheel nut ,sprocket carrier nut and sprocket nuts ,looking at the instructions ,they say to apply tape to nuts to prevent marks when fitting . Does this work ,and if so which tape did you use which is thin enough to allow the socket to fit ?

  2. Painters tape works just fine. Have used it many times.

  5. I've used a thin bit of cloth before too

  6. I've seen (not tried) people using latex gloves stretched over nuts and tightened which seemed to work.
