Never ever hesitate on things like this in the future., perhaps £2/5k would have'd the paintwork and engine and some other bits tidied up if D.I.Y but your still ahead of the game pricewise.
yep, yep and yep...still I've puchased the last three bikes and a Porsche without asking the missus..maybe it would have been one too far! (all needing restoration too!!)
Nice bike, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ducati-7...835200?hash=item3440d27ac0:g:RmQAAOSwPm5gUho5, but the claims in the listing are bollocks. The bike is an Ohlins model assembled in 2001 and not the ‘final edition’ nor does the plaque number have any significance. Ducati had a box of loose plaques so your number is totally random and no indication of build date. The Ohlins 748R came with a carbon air box and the most likely reason for changing the brake master cylinder is the original failed from old age and lack of use. Not seen that many 748R’s change hands recently but £12k looks a bit rich for a yellow one IMO. Andy
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-7...831960?hash=item447b06fe18:g:pqQAAOSw5PNgd0Kz. Why would a 9 year old bike with 11000 recorded miles need restoring ? I get the point of the 853cc conversion, (done it myself although not on a 748R engine) but I don’t get why it’s listed as a 748R, which it isn’t any more, especially with the non original decals and all the tat thrown at it. Andy
Not ebay, but nice silver 900 fe (superlight spec) on face book selling page. Southampton area £7999, low recorded mileage & one owner allegedly.
Think impossible with Facebook selling page? Search in little house logo 900 superlight, it's the only silver final edition on there.
I viewed this motorcycle back in 2016 and what a nice chap he was, also the bike was in great condition.
Perhaps this classic one is for you with low miles and owners. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-P...994517?hash=item23f3d9d455:g:rDEAAOSwpsdgUQWt
That looks in much better shape than that Lotus Sunbeam last night on Bangers and Cash, good luck with the above project.
this is lovely, I see they are blessing bikes now Pete, just to get ahead of the competition. @XH558 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1989-Ducati-851-Mono-Stunning/184765624145?_trkparms=aid=1110002&algo=SPLICE.SOI&ao=1&asc=20190711095549&meid=05dec52d27a54057831417c8f863c273&pid=100047&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=184673348492&itm=184765624145&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2047675&algv=SellersOtherItemsV2&_trksid=p2047675.c100047.m2108
If No else bids then your ahead of the game pricewise. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-V4R/324575045175?hash=item4b922e2637:g:nZEAAOSwE~xgeaNN
