This sun we’re having lately is just too good to miss ! But first,...a haircut this morning...Yaaay!! I had a right Mullet going on, feels good to have it trimmed back, probably makes me a lot faster on the pushy as well.......not! About 24 miles back out to the reservoir.. Glorious blue cloudless sunny sky ! Hide in the hide ???..to prep my refreshments You just can’t beat a frothy coffee ( with an extra spoonful of caramel coffee in it ) and a few chocolate hob-nobs...yum! Route back loops around the reservoir and over the footbridge in the distance bridge is just barely wider than the handlebars so takes a bit of concentration not to clout anything! Out on the motorbikes tomorrow,..Easingwold, gonna use the Kawasaki “work horse” tomorrow, last two rides have been on the 899,...they start to get jealous if they don’t get a fair turn y’know !
Tough day off road today, 37 miles, 3500+ ft of climbing, all off road. Great day out though and conditions are stellar...
Spent the day turning myself inside out over the North Yorkshire moors,..some killer climbs, I always say if you can ride out here you can ride anywhere ! Legs are shot now,...I’m like an old black Labrador who’s back legs have gone!!
I actually think somewhere flat is worse as you’ve nearly always gotta be pedalling. Want the vet to sleepy by you or just take you out into the back garden to be shot?
