So what have you done today..?

  1. Westerham hill or some where near Tatsfield?

  2. The London road from westerham town heading north.

  3. Temporarily off the beer until I get results from another blood test that don’t show an elevated marker for liver function. Just found some Naproxen, that’ll take the edge off it :p Andy

  7. Ah yes thought I recognised it. Many moons ago my dad got the caravan stuck on the hill a few yards ahead as it’s gets steeper in traffic. Stopped and couldnt get started again-clutch slip -all out to push to the top.

  8. That's the hill ( Airport ) and the land rover also struggles up there just have to select the correct gearing.

  9. At the beginning of June I’m booked to do a 6 day trip to Ireland. However there’s some doubt as to whether it’ll go ahead because of travel restrictions..........so me and a few others have made alternative arrangements for a few days in Wales instead if we can’t go to Ireland. Hotels were booked late yesterday evening :upyeah:

  10. We’re thinking/ hoping July should be ok to travel to Ireland
We haven’t seen the family since 2019!

We had a week last year in Pembrokeshire camping in the van, what a beautiful part of the country that is.

Either will make for good biking country, weather permitting.

  11. Got a feeling that West Wales and probably a fair chunk of Wales come to that, will be very busy this year, especially if the weather is good.

  13. Took my "tractor" to the small town of Kirriemuir to visit a man who would probably have this to say about all the carp we are being fed; "It's all a dirty lie."

The bike sounds and pulls like a tractor and is about as fast as some of these modern agricultural machines but it is pretty good at what I wanted it for. It takes a bit of work in the corners, unlike 1990s Supersports which seem to negotiate any corner by the rider being no more than vaguely aware of the bend in the road.
