My 1st 900 Superlight originally came with KM clocks and was supplied new by 3-Cross Registered as a UK bike. I think there was 2 main Ducati importers back in the early 90s with 3-Cross being one, the other I assume became the current main importer. Though I'd have thought that 996 was a little young to be imported when there was a split supplier model? Note the superlights clocks were swapped to MPH by a main Duc dealer before its 1st service & I got it not long after .
Many of the early bikes that came to the UK from Italy were delivered with KPH clocks and continental lights fitted and the pallet had a box with the UK compliant parts for the UK dealer to fit. Not unsurprisingly, a few bikes got out into the wild without the correct parts fitted and very occasionally, you still see one crop up. Andy

Lovely Richard and yes it would sit well with the others & complete the three R's, but now at £10k plus and i think someone's tickling it up slightly in my opinion with six days on the listing remaining, but i could be wrong it has been known in the past. Also he'd a Honda NC30 with just 7000 miles on the speedometer but that now has been removed....back in the day they're £6300 plus new..........I really've me heart set on a triple eight and not a Rolex.
The cheapest one so far since the release date. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324580039209?hash=item4b927a5a29:g:Y2QAAOSw7ctgRkIP
