  1. Ride out through Staffs Shropshire and Wales for me out and back no loops created.

Home-Brewood-Shifnal-Telford-Much Wenlock-Craven Arms-Clun-Newtown-Ryhader and then retrace. Out for 6 hours with a couple of stops for bladder stops and Coffee.

  2. What was the route. I often have a play in the Peaks.

Snake Pass, Strines Road, Longhill, 13 bends etc...

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  4. Spent 6 hrs replacing screws/bolts with stainless ones & having a nose around my new-to-me 'other' bike. Previous owner(s) must have cleaned it with bloody seawater!

  5. Filled the bike with gas and had a nice ride out. A bit cold but good nonetheless.

  6. made some space in garage, got 1098 out for first time in around 2 years and actually fitted a side fairing. It doesn't sound like much but it's monumental for me and those that know me will understand. Sat on bike and i think I might MOT.

  7. Meddled with my Monster for a while, redid the clear on the cam belt covers, repainted the brake reservoir cap & did other little, timewasting, super enjoyable, fiddling about jobs.

Its off for MOT tomorrow, plus new rear Nitron, slipper clutch & cambelts. Hoping for clear skies & sunshine next weekend.

  8. Now, it's the KTM Duke R!

I'll stop posting this crap now. It's nothing to do with Ducati (it should be if they had a better range) and I change my mind often. Hopefully this is it. I can get the KTM from Fowlers of Bristol and there is a dealer in Cirencester that I've never been to. Or when I get a Ducati roadworthy and my license back, I might do private second-hand.

And I may get a different Triumph to tour on. I could end up with many bikes!

  9. How did the MOT go?

  10. I've spoken to the "trials bike" company that I'm doing an "experience" with on Thursday to ask what equipment I need to take. Seems that they only suggest taking waterproofs, just in case, as they provide the bikes and all other equipment such as helmets, boots, gloves, pants, jersey etc. I'll be taking a back protector too I think.

And it was confirmed that Foggy will be with us in our company (which I knew anyway) :)

  11. Ordered a second hand generator case for my 1098R yesterday... It arrived before lunch today. Top stuff.

  12. The guy left the keys at my house and is due back today to pick them up. I hope they've got on with the Nitron & slipper clutch.

  13. Only 80 quid too and looks sound.

  14. Seemed pointless to have new to me wheels and re-fit a pair of pitted and scored discs :D Andy

  15. Whoa, wavy gravy!
    :)

  16. Made by an Italian manufacturer called Braking who have, I am told, been around for a long time although I’ve never heard of them. 320mm diameter, 5.5mm thick and very well made. Andy

  17. Good name for a disc manufacturer, it’s like it was meant to be
    :)

  18. Ducided that I am going to junk Google and especially Google Drive as it is faulty. And the Ducati Supersport is back in favour! Too much distraction with KTM and Triumph crap!

  19. Had these on my 749R trackbike for a good while. Wear the pads rather quickly but stop nicely. Got fully floating Brembos now.
