  2. You'll need to pack plenty of Valium as, to quote Frank Spencer, I always seem to have a lot of harassments

  4. So far today i've knocked up a set of steps for a site office with left over timber etc, jumped over the fence into the highway and helped rescue a pair of Canadian geese and their young from idiot motorists.
The downside i've just received a refund from DVLA for the SL after two months on the road, but i haven't sorn the bike so a little bit confused at the minute....and of course nobody available on the telephone to fix or understand what's gone wrong.

  7. Well i fancy a rideout today as the weathers ok at the minute, i did try tuesday on the 98r and it was a NO go after thirty minutes in the saddle with black clouds & light rain coming down i was forced to park up, but better than having the bike tick over in the garage for ten odd minutes sweating away,Imo
Also there's a classic bikejumble on at Ardingly showgrounds this sunday but who's knows what the bloke upstairs has lined up for us weatherwise.

  8. First thing this morning I went for a sports massage as I’ve been suffering from back pain for about the past 5 or so weeks. She was brutal. But last time I went to see her it worked so well I didn’t revisit for 4 years. I’m hoping another course of treatment over the next few weeks will have the same result.

Afterwards I went to the local jewellers to get a new battery for my watch.

This afternoon I’ve been spray painting and sprucing up the patio table in an effort for it to look nice for when we finally get some nice weather. :)

  9. Option to hire a rotorvator or equivalent power tool? Throw some internal combustion techno at the situation?

  12. Finally got that ride down to the coastline today so three odd hours out, but i'd to revisit my encyclopedia on potholes as i forgot where they're on route.Don't you just love the British workmanship.: unamused:

Also watchout as a threeway traffic light system at the Polegate / A27 turning westbound, the bike was cooking while waiting.

  15. Really considered a man tool but I am finding far too many bramble roots that need to be dug out not chopped up. My aim is about 10yds x 6yds for formal lawn. The remaining 25yds x 8yds will get ripped up with a digger and raised beds laid out. With regards to fruit trees, are you the man ? Looking to have a couple of fanned, sweet cherrys on Gisela 5 dwarf root stock, in large pots and 3 varieties of apple in pillars. Any suggestions ? Andy

  16. It went through the roof all because the motorists couldn't position their cars when queuing at the lights, it was a few miles down the track before it settle back down.I'll check the coolant levels tomorrow etc.
