I put super unleaded in my 750ss today and it cut out on a run after about 29 miles, waited 5 mins and it started no problem and I was off again. Should I just be using standard fuel?
I'd say no, use super because you want to put as little ethanol as possible through the engine and the higher the octane rating the lower percentage of ethanol there will be in the fuel. My nearest petrol station is Esso so I use the their Superunleaded Synergy Supreme+ as the Esso website says it's zero ethanol.
Only in certain regions of the U.K. is it Ethonal free here is a link to Esso https://www.esso.co.uk/en-gb/fuels-faqs
And other forum members who may read this thread live in other parts of the U.K. and may find the Esso link useful.
