The last photo is of a glass a worktop with hob and pop up extractor, they used two pieces of glass fit the first piece and hit it in the corner to shatter it then next clear piece sits on top.

  8. Well today turned out to be really fun filled and I didn’t even go to the tip. That’s a treat for another day. :upyeah:

After the gas engineer serviced our boiler we had a trip to Screwfix to get a carbon monoxide detector, then it was on to B&Q for more garden plants

After lunch SWMBO wanted to go to a huge garden centre in Wakefield. Spent another £150 on even more plants and a couple of pots (for patio #2 this time apparently). When we got home it was full steam ahead to get them all planted in between the heavy rain showers.

And to finish the day off this evening SWMBO has ordered a wooden planter for the patio #1.

Bleeding expensive this gardening lark isn’t it. :bucktooth:

  9. Peter, they are.
    :)

  10. Is the worktop running off level then?

  11. Perhaps an optical illusion then, maybe a tape measure in front of the each socket would settle the matter.

  12. It’s the worktops not being level . Perhaps wait until Carr has completed the refurb, then we can better assess just how level the sockets are.:)
