For Sale Not Sure If I Should Sell

Discussion in 'Ducati Bikes For Sale' started by mike willis, May 9, 2021.

  1. Dilemma, my lovely 999 bip Haga rep, mine from new.
Not using it as much as I should, the Multistrada gets preference.
Absolutely full history, 16k, 54 plate. Signed by Haga.
Any advice or help gratefully received, a good home wanted.
    No idea what it's worth.

  3. It owes you nowt I should think, at least you’re still riding it occasionally.

You’ll have sellers regret once it’s gone.

  7. I go through this myself every year, and every year I reach the same conclusion. Do not sell. Sorted.

  9. Keep but get it repainted. That is one ugly mutherf**ker....

    And junk the pillion footrests.

    Actually, sell it!

The non-matching front mudguard and the weird wheel colours.....

    Definitely get rid!

  10. Look at the "standard 999 Bip" prices and work from there is my thoughts on the correct pricing. One on ebay at the minute for £4750 or best offer with the same miles so maybe a little more 4 the special paintwork.

  12. If you can get good money then sell it, it’s not being used and looks like a 1980’s shell suit

  13. Race reps are a very personal thing, might be worth less than you think? Or maybe more? Sounds like you still love the bike even if you don’t ride it much, let’s face it you’ve hung on to it for 17yrs. Your not going to give it away so work out how much you would be prepared to let it go for, set a reserve on eBay and list it at 99p and see where it gets to. If it’s meant to be it’ll pass your reserve and you’ll be happy, if it doesn’t reach it you’ll still be happy because you didn’t give it away?

  15. Thanks, good advice, it should sell ok, I have all the history, bills and mot's and keys.
All the original parts, front mudguard replacin the original cracked one.

  16. I could make some space in the garage, I would like to think somebody else would enjoy it

  17. Be brave and perhaps stick up a price for the outsider folk and here for that matter.

  18. ... or maybe a little less...?

  19. Unfortunately it's a marmite bike with non-standard paintwork, so who knows on the day.

  20. It was done for On yer Bike in Aylesbury, it was in the window of their new showroom.
It is a marmite bike but it draws a crowd every time I park up.
