Perry i've to say i'm still looking the perfect secondhand motorcycle as yet as there's always something missing like paperwork wise and marks here & there on the wheels or bodywork etc.
An oddball bike for sure folks. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194113884120?hash=item2d3216cfd8:g:0w0AAOSw12Jgl5Tg
There is ‘ugly’, then there is ‘butt ugly’ and then there is this bike Not sure a fibreglass petrol tank would conform with the latest construction regs but that alone would put me off. Andy
Respray tank & plastics as had bad storage scuff on one side. Source new fully floating front rotors New rear brake caliper. Came with 3 wheels (originals + brand new rear) decided to buy another new front & get repainted in correct colour, may sort originals out one day. Visted her Saturday, just had new handmade brake & clutch lines fitted with shinny stainless ancillaries . Needs P8 brain securing properly, rubber gromits that it sits on perished. Then hopefully full desmo service & will be up too boom boom speed after at least 7yrs off road.
Sounds like a nice little project for one man and his dog......pictures when completed if possible please and don't forget to include your dustbin for you know who..

Each time I see something like this, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154446950652?hash=item23f5c170fc:g:tzcAAOSwqG5gVo7Y, I think, surely no-one could that ridiculous but no, another one comes along to compete for the biscuit. Andy
What the person that spent that money on the extras in the first place or the dealer trying to convince us it's worth the stupid price tag.
The carbon fibre "swining" arm protector is a must. I guess that having a "swining" arm is an upgrade to a swinging arm?
@Expat Jack 749r maybe for you as you might've the folding stuff from a recent sale. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144031029799?hash=item2188eb1a27:g:dD8AAOSwqt9gk8wK
I was just about to say, why did you phone the seller then and find this out..but me slow with the typing.
748S one family owned from new but i've never seen a S model before. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154448019998?hash=item23f5d1c21e:g:7c4AAOSwrCdgmW0q
This is an uncommon bike, yellow was not a popular colour in 2002. Looks perfectly standard and correct for a late, bi posta S. Not a bargain but IMO, a fair asking price. Andy
