So what have you done today..?

  1. Actually rode the 748! It’s not been out since MOT in November due to weather, baby arrival, working from home, servicing, dicking about with other bikes, maximising my government permitted socialising etc. So dry roads, temperatures above 5 degrees and baby bedded and under the watchful eye of my wife, I decided to head out.

Love, love, love!!! The sounds, the smells, the handling, the performance, it all just felt so right. Covered a good 80 miles and felt way more comfortable than I thought I would with so little bike time in the last 6 months. The noise above 7k rpm and at WOT is addictive.

Must get more miles on the bike and definitely need to get it back on track.

  2. This morning meant more garden centre visiting and buying. And another £40 spent on plants and plant pot feet. And we didn’t even buy the weed killer she really wanted in the first place

Plant pots have been moved around both patios, and now we’re waiting on the wooden trough/planter to be delivered before these new plants can be sown.

Have to say that it’s starting to look nice again :)

Tomorrow is bike day. And I’m paying my Ducati dealer a visit. :)

  4. Is that above the "new" Aberdeen by-pass? I moved away from Bucksburn before they started building it but it must have made a big difference to the crazy traffic in Aberdeen.

  5. Booked a day of Green Laning in and around The Marches, hopefully it won’t rain too hard too often...

  12. Certainly is, has made a huge difference to the traffic in town! Although a bit of a downturn and the subsequent pandemic has also seen to that.
