  4. Blinded - those who kill on BBC 4. Episode 1 was at 9 pm. no idea if it's any good.

EDIT Almost aborted before the end, I won't ruin the story but too predictable for me.

on the other hand, managing to stick with Ice Cold Murders on 4 (second episode the other night).

  5. 'The Hour' about a 1950s BBC news programme (on Prime). Got the period style & atmosphere just right I reckon...

  6. White Tiger. Watching it now…

  7. Just watched it (the credits are playing as I’m typing).

I’d say it was an interesting film/story rather than a good one.

  8. Suspect there was as much fiction as fact but the music matched the story

  9. From 2016, Start Up.

Set in Miami, Izzy Morales creates a revolutionary, unregulated digital currency called GenCoin. A young banker named Andy decides to partner with Izzy, infusing the project with cash that Andy's father is desperate to conceal. The trio ends up on the radar of FBI Financial Crimes Agent Phil Rask, who is on Andy's trail.
Stars that cocky little fucker Martin. Freeman.

  10. Just finished Britannia II. Both series, I quite licked it, Lady Vader watched about 5 minutes, it wasn’t for her. She didn’t like Game of Thrones either, she’s a strange one.

  11. Watched that on a plane when it came out, compared to Bohemian Rhapsody I thought it was shite, shame really as I quite like Elton’s early stuff.

  12. BR was good and probably better ‘true’ representation.

  13. Motherland. If anyone tells you women can't write comedy, they just need to watch this and have a big mug of shut the fuck up.
The Good Place. Very good US comedy with Kristen Bell and Ted Danson.

  14. ^ agree re: Motherland, first episode/S3 was a bit close to the truth 4me but still funny.

  15. Monaco Historique grand prix 2021, stuff on the Getty's.

  16. Not seen new series of motherland yet. And women write plenty of funny and quality stuff. Anyone who thinks otherwise belongs firmly on the 70’s

  18. BBC Four Coventry and the car industry, started at nine, the testimony of Norman Dewis re: his Le Mans experiences are worth it alone (192 mph on the Mulsanne in 1955).

  20. The Pact T.V series last night but missed the first 20 minutes, the moral of the story is never ever accept a lift from a group of pissed women.
