I used to do 30 miles around Grafham Water on a mountain bike, 2 or 3 times a week with no protective gear. But there's no way I'd ride on the road.

That’s topped mine! I really shouldn’t admit this but I dislocated my collar bone (ac joint, where it meets the shoulder) falling of my Daytona, ON MY DRIVE! In fairness my drive is steep!

We should start a “What was your daftest crash?” thread. I still remember some of the entries in the one which was on the old pre-TWO Visordown, but my all time fave was the guy who trashed his bike after losing the front on a piece of toast.
