chaps, I’m trying to remove the satnav wiring, the inline components (not sure what they are) seem to be mounted to the underside of this panel underneath the handlebars, any idea how I release it? Thanks G
Be careful, I thought it was part of the fairing - or at least attached with hidden fixings to it. I managed without removing mine
Yesit is attached to the headlight fairing, above the beak fairing. You can remove the headlight fairing piece without removing the tank cover piece but you need to be sure where the screws are and carefully line up your philips no2 to get the fixings out and back in again. Once you have done it, it is a p.o.p to do it a 2nd time
Exactly as Laava says ^^^ its part of the upper headlight surround, the two fasteners are under each wing bit ( you can see them if you bend down and look up at it) then it slides off to remove the centre front clip arrangement, dont forget to disconnect the hands free antennae from the RHS of it
