I’m a sucker for a nice bit of paintwork, I couldn’t exploit the performance of a superbike these or any other days.
As I can see a lot of people here are all ready to judge me for the above post 'as an advert' let me clear this as I don't like to be looked at as a di**head. First, my intention was not to sale it on Ducati forum, otherwise I would've subscribed. I'm not that cheap not to pay a small fee to be free to sell stuff here. To the other keyboard warriors finding amd judging me quickly, I suggest you look up on the seach on this forum as a while back I had posted a similar type of post 'thinking to sell my 1199r' you can find it on this forum, as I was looking up to you people to help me decide if I should or not and I decided to keep it at that time, This post is one like the same, I just listed the parts I have hoping, i can get some feedback from you guys. Is it wrong to list the items? I thought this is a forum where you can actually be open about it and talk about stuff. I haven't asked no one to buy my bike, I've been asked to give an ideea of a sum and I said what balpark I was thinking Going to the sale advert I posted on facebook market is to see the value hence is 17ish in there. If I were to go on full sale don't you actually think I would put it on ebay or autotrader gumtree etc? Is it that bad to try to find where I am in the market? Yes it's tempting to sell it but believe me I would've used my insta to sell it if I were, some of the people on this forum asked me on insta about it and yes I'm tempted to get a v4 but I never even test rided one to know if I would like it or no. Have you ever thought about the fact that I might not like it? Or I might love it, I don't know But instead of judging me, you could've simply asked other questions or say dude I would not sell it if I were you or other things. I didn't think putting it on the panigale side of forum and not on the ducati bikes for sale would trigger some people. There is a clear difference on the two posts + the title If I've done something wrong by all means close the thread and delete it. But I don't consider that I've done something wrong in posting it on facebook so I can see where i stand in the market, if it's a good thing paying couple of k's more on top of what I can get for it etc. But yeah, thanks for judging.
Thanks bud, I worked a lot to get those wings done, but I can confirm they work, the first thing i felt after installing them was a feel that the bike is more stable and less wheelies when pushing the bike After I wrode it more and more I lost the confidence in going corners because it was harder to throw the bike, something like nose heavier if you know what I mean, So i decidee to go to and set the suspension up for the winglets and went to Brian at BN, such a nice guy btw and knows his trade, he went, rode the bike and then he ended up raising the front up, and just a touch up on the rear, The result now is amazing, I can throw it in the corner better than before with the benefit of not having to wheelie everytime I pull the throttle and the bike is finally spot on with the winglets So yep, I'm glad I created something that works even tho it's not a perfect fit to the fairing but I had to work with that but very happy with the results
I guess now I'm a subscriber, so can you please find another post to comment Btw all, I still have the bike, it's not for sale open to reasons why and what price range, if the v4 is worthy compared to this etc.
David Warburton painted it and I agree it's an amazing paintjob, even better in person Hence why I have the second set of fairings because I like that 'test bike' look too
I'm not decided, I've spent a lot of time on it and I might get this feel because I can't ride the bike for another 2 months really, had a surgery and I'm not allowed to have anything between my legs if I want to have any kids someday Hence why I asked about it
Smart looking bike. Ex Warby bike by the looks of it. That lad can ride. Preps his bikes beautifully too. GLWS
Thanks Mary, but I'm not selling, I was thinking but not actually selling it as I would like a v4 but I never rode one so I don't know how it feels and I can't ride one soon because of the surgery I bought the bike from Chris from the forum, never met Warby but I wish I would, it's an amazing bike But I do love the look of the v4 2020 or v4r So I have no clue, I'm interested to see if its worth to change it? You have a v4? What's ur opinion?
