Commenting on above, in nearby Cross, local, 76-year-old Doris Counsell, who has lived in Axbridge for her entire life, said:- "they have been that way for as long as I can remember".

  3. A couple of hours out this morning, still only just about double figures here in the tropical south east.
Got some good brownie points in the bag after lunch today. Adjusted the back gate so it doesn't scrape on the ground, fitted new wipers to the car, put some crap up in the loft, and hung a plant for the Mrs.
Just had a lovely bit of roast beef, now going to catch up with the world superbikes while the Mrs pops out to see her mum

  4. Filled out an ata Carnet form for Portimao in June, what a pita, weighing everything you put on the stillage. Should be easier next time though

  5. Yummy.:upyeah:...and the dessert, apple crumble with a knob of cream or custard.

  6. Going through my work history.

I did a day for Manchester City FC in 2013! I remember that they got very "funny" about me looking at their accounts! There were some very big numbers! They didn't use sterling and I just can't remember which currency the accounts were in - possibly Euros or Dollars!

  9. That’s very nice of you XH, there are a lot of odd jobs here to be done just a few questions. How far do you travel for how many of these FOC jobs? Don’t worry the Mrs has prepared our list and we should get through it in a day or so.:)

  14. After the clouds lifted and the sun came out went for a six mile hike over sand dunes along the beach through a building site to Hayle where I met this. 51A775B5-79D9-4BFE-ACEC-0CB1F5E2A2D0.jpeg
And all of a sudden it made sense!

  17. Bench tested my starter solenoid and reg/rec unit on my KTM 990 Adv as my starter seems to have gone u/s. I am hoping for two things: that its not the starter, but if it is I am really hoping (fate tells me it may be a vain hope) that I don't have to drop the engine out to change it as that's a c**t of a job that I can't really be bothered with!

Old bikes, why do we bother?!
