First thing I rode to Ducati Manchester to drop the Scrambler off for its 7500 miles valve service. I was soggy when I got there. Now home (SWMBO picked me up), cleaned the inside of the car before having some lunch and then going to pick up a new’ish (it’s a 6 months old ex demo) Peugeot 2008 GT Line I ordered yesterday.
It’s going to brighten up Thursday though bud. Least my washing getting dried in between the showers/deluges, if I’m quick enough...
Heading back up to Somerset tomorrow for two nights at a camping and fishing site, where you can hire kayaks In for a penny...
I like fishing but find I just fall asleep in my chair, you can hire kayaks in Hayle too least either you’ll start wet or finish wet but you’ll be wet.
I’ve hired a place by Fistral beach Newquay and looking forward to a pastie and a pint or two, wonder if I should bring my speedos or just an umbrella, enjoy what’s left of your holiday
Yeah and neglected to share this information causing ships to run aground. At least Cookie charted these ‘unknown’ lands.
Spain was hat and sunny Spain was hot and sunny, Pembrokeshire and Snowdonia was hot and sunny, so no? Oh yeah that’s right it pissed down proper in Enniskillen, big time, but that was a mercy run so not a really holiday!
Managed to dry some washing outside on the line due to a dry and windy afternoon, the indoor drying rack has taken a hammering this last week. Washed up did some vacuuming tidied the hall stairs and landing and made the beds. Not in my Daughters room though as you can’t walk in there for all the chite on the floor and she stays in bed till gone 12pm. Sorted out what’s for our evening meal and might go and tidy the garage now.
Picked up the new car and I’m impressed with the drive quality and performance which is great. But why don’t manufacturers include instruction manuals any more? I’ve spent at least two hours trying to programme in “favourites” into the satnav, and I still can’t fathom it out even with their online instructions
