Just putting this on the cycle thread to attract attention to my sale https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/colnago-extreme-power.86042/
Ridiculous wind today, I was wobbling around like I'd just taken off the stabilisers. I job to ride in a straight line. Picked up a route I hadn't done for a good few months. Turned out to be rather over grown in parts.
Just been out with my Son for a quick blast round Follow the Dog, him on his 9/9 er me on my 9/7er. A little muddy in places but being a mostly sand/pebble route it drains well enough not to get too mud fest. Back home hose down clean and lube ready for next time, my cycle fitness has suffered my Son keeps whooping my ass on the climbs and only my extra skillz on the downhill bits keeps me equal. Either that or my extra 15kgs gives me the speed required.
Wow we all need to up our game I struggle at 15 mph ffs. https://www.stickybottle.com/races-...SdLtGw5Tv3FlbFFbVk98rQoW1HmGt0xONQdTvwXGVErbA
Think we need to up our game in this thread we’re just not worthy, singlespeeder too https://singletrackworld.com/2021/05/ht550-the-first-finisher-is-in/ A little more background to the rules of this race. https://singletrackworld.com/2021/05/10-bikes-of-the-highland-trail-550/
I couldn’t even finish 100 miles in Kielder forest, I missed the cut off at 56 miles by 5 minutes. 550 miles in just over 3 days is unimaginably difficult, there’s a picture of an entrant wading waist deep through a river due to how much rain they’d had.
