They reported it as best to be left alone, too many scary animals apparently and they where not wrong lol
Yesterday I finally got the all clear to leave my hotel room in Finland, after three negative Covid tests and 5 days staring at four walls. Shame that today the weather has taken a turn for the worst. Hail the size of marbles, battering against the window since 8am this morning and it's still coming down thick and fast 8 hours later.
I've just been next door to check on my neighbour as I'd not seen her for the past few days and her car hadn't moved. Added to which her husband's car hasn't been on the drive since last Friday either. Anyway it seems her husband is on a golfing trip for a week, and she's now having to self isolate as her teaching student tested positive for CV19 at the end of last week I've offered to do some shopping for her if she needs it
Bit more digging in the garden and built two more 1m square raised beds. A few more tomato seeds germinated than I anticipated. A quick trip to the local garden centre for decorative bark chippings for Carole and multi compost for me and just checked the bikes over ahead of our ride later. Some poor IAM RS ARC associate is going to get double teamed later. He rides a ZX10RR so he can take it Andy
A spot of decorating today which i really dislike, also i'd put the bikegear on for a secondtime in last two weeks and aborted the ride for some odd reason or other.
Just found out that a good friend of mine has a few weeks left to live (if that) as his chemotherapy hasn't worked. I feel a bit numb
Sorry to hear that sad news T, with situations like this all you can do is make them as comfortable as possible for their final days.
We’ve had a badger sett about half a mile away for as long as I can remember and as the young ones gain confidence they begin to forage a bit further from home so it was nice to bump into this little one whilst out on my late evening dog walk last night.
Mostly see Badgers dead at the side of the road these days sadly, lucky you. There was a sett a few miles away but a certain community found it, no longer exists.
