Think you were the 950 Hyper in our garage. Great to meet you and your mint bike. Some really nice even wear on the rear tyre aswell you didn’t miss anything, as it was wet for the rest of the day. Hopefully better weather the next time we are out.
Good day out, more the banter than the tracktime for this one, was quite sketchy out there at times and had a light drizzle turn into a monsoon just after I passed pitlane entry, so had a fun lap on slicks in 3rd gear and trying to be smooth .... Had someone desperate to overtake me the lap before, he then overshot at the Melbourne Hairpin, he then came back past me on the start finish straight in the wet so I backed off (even more) to let him get on with it just to watch him slide off at turn one and join another bike that was already in the kitty litter .... hope the repair bills aren't too bad !!
Just checking before i book Silverstone that track bikes are allowed? The joining instructions said no race prepared bikes, so wasn't sure what was OK... i was going to bring my unregistered track only 848.
The MSV ones ? Yeah, saw those, shockingly poor .... sooner Alex James gets out of rehab or wherever he is the better !!!
They are properly amateur, You have to buy a minimum of 10 images.. You'll be doing well if you find 10 images of yourself!
apparently i am there with the missus. but not got a single bike prepared or one that will pass noise limits... Will they allow a "ducati" engine bike such as a bimota?
Where were you all?? Absolutely fantastic day today. Loads of room, no pit lane queues at all, bags of space out on track. No stoppages or flags whatsoever in fast/inters. Most excellent!
Kinda wish I’d been braver and thrown my 749 in the back of van..... happy you had a good day and all went well
I'll be at Silverstone on my 1098s for its maiden track day. 30 mins away so I'm going to risk riding there and back, will be taking it easy in novice.
