Getting prepared to meet with a surveyor to discuss our ongoing boundary dispute between my mum and her land-grabbing neighbour.
This is getting all very confusing Let’s just stick with North/South divide, the rules are so much easier to remember!
I've a red face and arms from the south coast trip and i look like this=, also this rare two wheeler out & about like many others today..
Eventually made it to the Super Sausage after 3 detours round road closures but hey, we’er on the bikes and it’s sunny and dare I say, a little too warm. Should have worn my airtex, not my leather but when all is said and done, an enjoyable day out with a fried breakfast thrown in for good measure. Surprised at the number of cars seemingly driving aimlessly about and a little surprised how few bikes we encountered. That is motorcycles, far too many cyclists also aimlessly riding about 3 and 4 abreast, oblivious of the traffic. Andy
that is rare, just what we were talking about the other day, now if only they'd gone on to mass produce a water-cooled version of that engine in the same way that they did the 125..
not wanting to sound rude but you can have rare without the desirable, a stronger, water -cooled version in the right clothing might have been on par with the Aprilia and Suzuki by now. I think they had their hands full with developing all the fourstrokes by "that" time so not finding fault here, if it wasn't for Cagiva and the racing success of the 851, Ducati would be in a much different shape today*. https://www.theparking-motorcycle.co.uk/used-motorcycles/cagiva-sx-250.html *yes I know.. the Monster, blah blah blah, saved the universe, blah blah etc
Great rides over the weekend with each of my lovely 20-something daughters. First time out for both of them & they loved it - and we weren't hanging about once they'd settled in... Funny with them wearing my baggy (on them) old track-day leathers. So nice to do, especially considering they were here grave visiting 'cos their mum died 2 years ago this w/e.
