Marquez obviously struggling and no one seems intimidated by him any more apart from Vinales of course . Thought that episode was hilarious to be honest. Sad news in losing a rider though . It’s all to easy to forget how vulnerable the riders are.
Terrible news to loose such a young talent. some decent racing in Moto GP, great to have Sylvian G onboard, he is a class act who explains things simply and effectively with great passion. Please use him more and get rid of that PITA Gavin, who is obviously unpopular in the commentary booth, awful atmosphere on Saturday there I thought?
Not the first time an incident similar to this has happened as the grid forms after the warm up lap. Commentators all thought Enea was 100% at fault and he certainly appeared to be travelling a bit rapid. So much to do to set the gizmos up on the bike for the start, a moments loss of attention to what is going on in front of you and ....... NH’s opinion when that happened was ban all the rider launch aids. Andy
Can’t see Petronas going into 2202 with a totally new rider line up ...... unless of course Vinales gets demoted Andy
The good thing about Marc keeping binning it , he’s going to be less scared of hurting himself , I think when you’ve been damaged as he was when you get back into it you’re thinking I’ll have to be careful and not come off and hurt myself so it makes you a lot more pensive than you was now he’s come off a few times I think he’ll give less of a sh*^ if he comes off , my riding massively improved after I came off , as I wasn’t as scared of dying after so was a much more confident rider
Another great ride from Rossi... the field is so close but he looks like he’s just not able to find the feeling he’s after anymore
Im no rossi fanboy by any stretch but i do wonder what people were/are expecting from a 42 year old fella on one of the slowest bikes on the grid...
More pertinently the winningest bike on the grid. He's decided to fade away and Yamaha have supported him in doing so at the expense of a thrusting youngster. You can cut and dice it numerous ways. I'm going with 'selfish'.
Hold on, was Quato not winning on that same bike last year? We need to define slow, as the Yamaha has been a bike that once out front has been hard to catch, it is a LOT different to the Ducati rocket ship. A certain Lorenzo knew how to do it, FB has worked it out. Maybe it does not have engine advantage but it is no slouch when set up right with a committed rider on board. Unfortunately we have to be honest about things. Superb riders can make poor bikes look good. Poor riders can make good bikes look poor. While I would not call Rossi poor (I have been a huge fan for years in truth..) it is not realistic to say he is doing anything more than robbing a seat from some new up and coming talent now. Just a sad fact he has probably missed the opportunity of a swan song a few seasons back when he let MM get in his head. If the Yam was faster, would he not just then have the old 'tyre problems'?
Hasnt he got a whole academy (and teams) dedicated specifically to nurturing young talent lol? Not sure id call him selfish per se.
His bike was 15mph down on the straight and he still ended up 10th. Admittedly a second a lap down on the race winner but i cant say i was expecting anything more out of him this season. Maybe Remy or R Fernandez might have been a better bet but i guess they didnt want to take that gamble. Who else would you say that was available would have put that bike further up the order this weekend?
Frankie for starters, with Rossi junior on the A bike. Remember Razlan Razali and Petronas never wanted the old boy in the first place. Yamaha foisted him upon them.
He threw it away last season when in with a great chance of the championship. Normally you won't get many chances so you've got to grab it with both hands when it's there. Frustrating to watch.
Which broadcaster are you using to watch MotoGP? I like SG YouTube content may Pay to view unless it’s free.
He did BT onboard this week. I found a free streaming site, out of an Eastern European country probably, Google and patience are your friends
