Indeed it does. I preformed a pretty quick change over, making sure the bike was covered form any spilage. Keeping most of the fluid in the line made bleeding it fairly straight forward.
Just installed the oberon slave cylinder, but having problem to bleed it. Cant get any pressure, cant see any leak. Is the procedure just to keep pushing the clutch lever and bleed until tomorrow???? Or do i have to bleed the master too? The lever is way too loose.... Thanks in advance /Kjell
I did use a vac pump to suck all the old fluid out. Then pumped the lever. Only open the bleed nipple a little bit hold the lever in then tighten. That’s the way I have always done it.
YES that was the issue, after bleeding the master and then the slave, everything is good. At first the clutch engaged with the level just to mm out, took a jump start... Bleeding the master and slave one more time, and now everything is good. The level seems much smoother and no issues with finding the N.
Why won’t my fupping clutch bleed? The reservoir is full and I’ve to tried bleed at both the lever and slave cylinder. And nothing. My vacuum pump was attached to both bleed nipples and no fluid comes out. The reservoir level doesn’t change. Any ideas? Thanks.
I’ve tried both mate. I feel like I’ve spent the best part of the weekend either pumping the lever or using the vacuum and achieving nothing. The fluid doesn’t seem to be moving from the reservoir to the master cylinder. I’ve checked the pipe and it’s clear. I’m wondering if the master cylinder has gone faulty.
Funnily enough, I have changed the lever but it was working previously. The reason I bled it in the fort place was that it was slipping slightly last week, so I tourqed down the clutch and attempted to bleed, with no results. One thing I did do (I have a Ducabike clear clutch cover) was check the plates for wear and didn't refit them properly. The last plate and spacer go on the cover as opposed to the basket. I noticed it when I tried t pull the lever in. It was solid. I put everything thing back together and no bleed form the clutch. I'm wondering if a seal has gone in the master cylinder? P.S. I've adjusted the plunger on the lever to no avail.
