  1. Vauxhall Reloaded hasn't caused me any problems at all. So if your second shot of AZ is coming up, I hope the same goes for you.

  2. Mine is booked for tonight and i'm hoping i don't get any side effects.

My wife had hers on Saturday, was feeling ill on Sunday, but was OK by Monday. She has had really smelly shits since the jab and i'm not sure if that's a side effect or not

  3. Got second jab booked for Friday. So that’s 10.5 weeks since the first jab.

Speaking to colleagues in the States today from Arizona and they were saying how it’s almost a non entity for them. Comment was made that even mask wearing is not being enforced rigorously. They were quite surprised how locked down we still were.

  4. Same for me. Speaking to relatives on Long Island, they’re flying in and out to Florida and down to Miami for fun and games.

    business as usual it seems

  5. The figures are embarrassingly low for the Government still to persist with lockdown rules.

But if you like snooker, and who the fuck does?, that's OK???

  6. Just go my appointment on Friday from inoculation 2. Relieved in one way, coz I keep hearing on the news that so many have had their second inoculation but, I FECKING HAVEN'T!!!

But considering my strange reaction the next day (such as waking up and getting up at 4am feeling fine and then going back to bed at 9am feeling like crap) and I'm not particularly looking forward to it! But be nice to get it over with!

And then wait to hear on the news that is doesn't work anyway!!!!

  7. I had my 2nd AZ jab last Friday again without any side effects, also again it involved a lovely ride out on my '79 900SS.

  8. The norm seems o be not as much side effect as the first go. I am hoping!!! But it will be nice to get it over with.

Getting nicely distracted by trains now. I have to get the train to Gloucester Station on Thursday and I was looking where it goes on to - Worcester Shrub Hill, as I have heard many times. BUT, Ducati Worcester is within a mile and I can do that! Not this week as I've got a driving lesson on Thursday in Gloucester and medical things on the other days. Nor next week, as I have stuff pumped into my leg at Gloucester Hospital, on Tuesday. But the week after, a trip to Worcester looks in order. I have never ever been to Worcester and so a trip there, with a visit to Ducati Worcester, sounds well in order. If I like then their then I may buy my Supersport from then! This time, I'll train it, but it doesn't look a bad ride, if the M5 is avoided!

  9. 2nd jab of AZ last Monday and, as I did with the first, had zero side effects. Or so I thought... On Saturday night, felt a bit rough, and on Sunday I just couldn't get out of bed. Felt like I'd been in an industrial tumble dryer... Girlfriend was here and did a great job of looking after me and walking the dogs. Monday I was fine again. Can't put it down to anything else.

  11. Booked for my 2nd AZ dose on my way to work next Monday morning. Had the "can't get out of bed for 24 hours" reaction to the first one, hoping for zero effects this time.

  12. Had my second jab just over a week ago. Had to have Pfizer when my first was AZ because in France a couple of days after my AZ they banned it from being given to those under 55 because of the fear of blood clots. So instead I have mixed vaccines, which is untested, but in theory could produce a stronger immune system reaction.

I find it interesting that they’d rather go with an unknown risk and an unknown level of protection than a very small risk and a known level of protection, especially for an almost 53 year old man (the majority of blood clot sufferers have been women and the older you are there is less chance of a blood clot).

As for a reaction to the Pfizer I had a slight ache in my arm after about 12 hours which lasted for less than 24 hours.

  13. Had my second AZ yesterday at lunchtime and full on flu symptoms by tea time. Woke feeling rough this morning but had a steady day today and feeling better now just a bit of a headache so my experience is less of a reaction to the second jab as the first laid me up totally for three days or so.

  14. Had my second AZ one Sunday. All fine.
    MrsX was also fine.

  18. How were you after your first one?

  19. Ok for the first day, then slightly flu-ey the next day. A lot milder than for #2...
