  7. The best motorcycles always command the best prices in my opinion, if i'd a spare £100k then i'd take trip up there but i don't , so i'll settle for a ride on the superlight instead today tiptoeing around Boxhill.

  8. I don’t particularly watch the Panigale market but £18k for a Mk1 R seemed very high from what my memory tells me they were changing hands at. I see there are 2 other Mk1’s on eBay, 1 @£16k and 1 @ &17k. Still of the opinion the Panigale R is the better bike and they were changing hands for similar money. Hey, if it’s what you want and you have the disposable funds but it misleads other sellers into believing that’s what they’ll get and end up being disappointed. Andy

  9. The obvious things are the shape of the cambelt covers, and the wet clutch, which would indicate a 600 or 750SS, not a 900.

I know some have converted 900s to wet clutch, and that may be an advantage on a 'School bike', but there is no reason to convert the cambelt covers, and I'm not sure it's even possible.

    Nasher.

  10. A 600ss is also a single pipe, although obviously can change the 750/900 to single easy enough.
Engine looks just like the one in my 600ss too.
I've asked them a couple of questions.

  12. Keep up Andy as the prices are rising on most of the Ducati secondhand range these days for some odd reason, perhaps because the dealers are pushing the envelope and this trickles down to the private sellers as the prices increase over time.
