Nice little blurt out on the 899 today, Yarm, Richmond, Leyburn and through to Hawes, very little traffic so got a nice “flow” going Tidy old Kawasaki at Hawes, good to see it still being used Quick coffee at Hawes then continue on to hang a left onto the B6259 Nateby/Kirkby Stephen, through Brough and onto the B6276 that runs past Selset and Grassholme reservoirs, now bits of this road are fekkin bumpy and bits are 1000 yard stare stuff so it kind of keeps your attention focused ! Then onto the Wear View diner at High Etherly A regular stop for me and the boys here, flying solo today though so it seemed really quiet without the constant piss-taking that normally goes on, just enough time to stop for another coffee and a fruit scone with jam and clotted cream...a diet one, zero calories I always enjoy a day out more when I know everyone else is at work, or “day prison “ as I like to call it ....six years on and still love my 899 About a 130 mile round trip
Both @Carr and I would like some pictures of the floor after ‘socket gate’, especially as we might be considering purchase this flooring system. It’ll give us some tips on how to lay a perfectly square and flat floor what with your being such a pro. TIA
A parallel line from the kitchen units with a 5mm expansion gap around the walls working from left to right, then repeat the process. Also the boards should overlap by a minimum of 300mm at the joints for retaining the strength in the product with constant traffic use.
Not been on for a while....life gets in the way....Not been out on anything sociably (rideouts with mates etc etc) since last year. Zeds running fine since it got rebuilt after getting written off...used the Hyper a few times to get to work on but no more than that....RSV4 not used since last september... Been garden landscaping for 3 months now....it still in the stage of being a shitty building job of which im the only labourer, coupled with a full time job and being over 50, and the added problem of being able to get no machinery to the rear of the house the entire job is manual, rough guess so far is 300 concrete blocks, 5tonnes of concrete mixed, approx 24 tonnes of earth dug out (wore out 2 shovels), 2 tonnes of loose chippings. Everything has to be carried down by hand, from the road, down the driveway, through the garage, down a steep flight of stairs, across a patio, down more stairs down the garden (90ft) and then do it all again with another block/bag of sand/cement/bucket of chippings etc etc....no access from the rear either... Never done it before but back in January jumped in on the whole AMC Gamestop saga so ive been following that very closely - the state of the financial markets in the U.S is so corrupt its hilarious - its like financial EastEnders - some fucked up shit literally happens every day....compelling viewing.... Anyway....weather is getting better, just finished a huge block wall last night so have to hand over to the plasterers to get the fire pit and wall rendered up so i can take a break for a short while before i start the decking....approx (60 sq meters)...yey...
Booked a couple of noisy days at donington for the end of july. Anyone know if you have forward pointing exhaust outlets do they still noise test at the back of the bike......?
A glorious ride out to the Honey Street Mill cafe near Pewsey. Bacon, brie and cranberry panini anticipated Andy
No but you need something really loud to trigger it on a noisy day. My gsxr1000r is ok for quiet days with a full system on it
Word on the street is things will open for travel after the 17th to the republic. Either way I bought a flexible ticket so it can be changed if need be.
27 “bots” (so far) dealt with today But on the plus side today we’ve been to meet some friends and had lunch in a fab Turkish restaurant in Harrogate. Also went to Betty’s for afternoon tea and bought a box of four “Fat Rascals” to have later on
