  7. We used to go for years in the nineties, always a great weekend, as a spectator the old pits were far better. Great to watch at night.

  8. I didn’t know Foggy took a bite of that cake (1992). What an accomplished motorcycle racer!

A first Ducati win in endurance would be really great.

  9. I remember reading the article in the MCN at that time when Foggy said Hislop goes faster in the dark and named him the Bat which made me laugh.

  10. The great thing about night-time endurance racing, is that ALL bikes are faster during the night with the cooler, denser air! The rider is the limiting factor and I don't remember them slowing up much during the night!!!

  11. Lit vs unlit track may be a factor as well, don’t you think? How do you see your exit point if in the dark?

Watching them race at night is quite an experience, especially when there’s hard braking involved. Front discs glow orange in the dark. That’s beautifully impressive...

  12. They have head lights

  13. Onboard lap with Guintoli

  14. Of course. But in most turns, the headlight is not quite pointing towards the turn exit, right? Unless they’re directional?

  15. Yes 100% agreed, but the most important bit was less information to process at night so you could just concentrate on the ride.
