Feck me shock horror i did some work today in this bloody heat & my reward's one now perhaps a few later.
Just booked a day of Flat-track for my Son and me. 4 August Market at Pete Boast flat track school. http://www.flattrackschool.co.uk/main/
Still sat here waiting on UPS to deliver a parcel they claim will be delivered by the end of the day. Last time I checked, it was tagged in Reading at 8:05pm. I do not in any way, envy a delivery driver, it has to be a shit job especially when the Company make promises, the drivers clearly cannot keep. The horror of sat here waiting is, I’m running out of chilled beer Andy PS - discovered in Waitrose yesterday, Nacho cheese and Jalapeño mini Cheddars, OMG, a 6 pack is not enough
Any excuse with you @Android853sp for fodder and beers...this's the downside when ordering up online with the waiting game.
That feeling you get when you see someone post somewhere interesting and you think “that looks cool, I’m going there” then you check it out in Google maps
Met me Julie at Goat Shed on way back from work on cycle. (9 mile each way commute) Bloody hot so had iced coffee etc. Gave her my rucksack with bike stuff in it then set off to hers. 5 mins later front tyre blows and instant flat No problem says I, wang another tube in; errrr, nope me Julie has my stuff in her car. Bugger. No cut or hole in tyre but blister on tube which popped. Very odd.
Played an enjoyable but hot 16 holes of golf with a buddy at Tickenham , then had a dance lesson with the wife this evening .
I went to bed at 8.45 lastnight with chest pains and a splitting headache also shivering in bed but made no difference when i got up at 10pm for a cold drink, so went back to bed again. I guess i can put it down to being work shy.
Talk to someone at your GP surgery and get a doctor to talk this through on the phone. Chest pains just on their own is not good, headache on its own is not good. Put the two together and that could be serious. Shivering in bed is the sign of a fever. Forget the macho facade, man up and talk to the doctor. GWS, Andy
A day out yesterday, MR for a new helmet and a sit on the new Monster for Carole then down to Lymington to drop leathers of with Chris (ex nine lives) for new zips. Lunch and a mooch in Lymington followed by a drive along the coast before heading back to Andover for a family dinner in a weird and wacky village pub. @Ducbird, Viv, saw this as we left the pub at lunchtime and thought of you Andy
