This is not a shout-down, but just wandering. Moto Rapido could be on my list when I am in a position to buy a Supersport. And they have one in stock at the moment, that might fit the bill. But they don't tall you it's year. Is that their policy, or just an innocent mistake? https://www.motorapido.co.uk/used-bikes/ducati/supersport-s/57669.htm
No, they seem to show the year of everything else so maybe just a one-off. And I could always ring 'em if I was serious!
I'd agree that Luke and Craig know their stuff, and despite them being so close I've used them several times for mail order in the past. They are great to deal with over the phone or by email when I'm unable to call during the day as I'm at work, they always reply to emails. Once when I'd emailed their workshop twice over a couple of weeks asking for info on an ECU setup and not had a reply I eventually forwarded the email to Craig and Luke and the workshop replied the same day after they hassled them. If wanting to collect parts I have another great dealer around the same distance away which is a far nicer ride for me and I don't have to deal with the awful traffic that builds up around MR at certain times of the day. Which is a shame. But having dealt with the rude dismissive attitude of the sales guys downstairs that you have to run the Gauntlet of to get to Craig and Luke I'd only consider buying a bike from them if they were the only ones with one in stock. Nasher.
We'll according to the "Live Chat" thing that keeps popping up on my screen, the sales floor is full of fit women.... or, have I go that wrong?
I'll add my two penneth to the shout out for Luke Hebburn at the Parts Department at Moto Rapido. Absolute star in sourcing the individual parts (still available) for my 2016 Multistrada DVT top box mounting kit from Italy, honouring a 10% DOC membership discount. The online parts ordering was a breeze too using the link he provided. Riders Bristol have got a lot to learn from this man.
When I needed a baffle for my Hypermotard at Croft, my two near Ducati dealers expressed neither interest nor help. I was recommended to contact Luke at MR, who sourced it straight away. Since then, I have to concur with the plaudits on here, that MotoRapido are my go to guys for parts.
