No mate, fat fingers and brain fade. Should have said ‘no’ advisories. Have to say, I am impressed by how quiet the 70mm with slash cuts is, with the OE db killers fitted. Andy
Finally received an important bit of kit for my cafe racer build... but I'm going to be doing some major modification to make it into something else... A clue is in the picture:
I like that system for keeping tabs on what goes where, I’ll try it. I have been using egg boxes, the type that come in 12’s with a label dropped in each cup. I keep the egg boxes on a shelf so I don’t accidentally kick everything over. This system looks neat and solves that problem though.
Gave the Scrambler the full works, snow foam, shampoo, blow dry and hand polish after getting filthy yesterday. You’d have thought it had actually gone off-road instead of about 60 miles of tarmac road. Will be riding down to MR on it tomorrow for its first belt service. My how time flies. Andy
When I took my KTM in for it’s running in service the dealer suggested I needed to pay for my bike to be cleaned before they do the service. It had rained all the way there after I’d cleaned it the day before, it doesn’t take much to get a bike filthy.
ah nope! I'll update when it is up and running with proper results, suffice to say I'm excited by the project!
Cheeky fkers. Many places send your bike or car out of the door with a complimentary mini-valet. Obviously there’s no such thing as a free lunch and I’m sure it’s absorbed into the price somewhere but it’s a nice touch
Fitted the Kriega fitting kit that was designed for a pantigirlie to my KTM 790, worked out well as there were fasteners in the pillion seat in just the right place.
Have you finished this Bob? - a description of your uprated rebuild or a link would be most useful, certainly to me and I suspect a few others.
Purchased a set of brake and clutch levers for my KaaTooM from Germany, guess I’ll get stung by HMRC.
