  1. @Chris reattach the front fairing and it looks balanced to me.

  2. I had thought of that, it helps but I have a feeling that above photo might have a “sympathetic “angle* to it, although admittedly the photo I included probably has an opposite bias, and that’s why my comment was partly tongue in cheek, plus as a lover of the first 851 seat fairing over the later version , you can appreciate this.

    * if you look at the cushioning on the seat, it clearly shows that the shot is taken more towards the front of the motorbike, I.e.: – the seat fairing/tail unit, is further away from the lens than the front.

  3. For a bloke of my age, it's simply a 'It's a Spondon' thing.

Yes I had the Streetfighters (or was it Performance Bikes?) poster of the wheelieing Spondon on the wall of my Student digs.
But can't find it on Google at the moment.

  4. So's that a Yes in agreement from you then or a No i don't agree.:D

  5. it's a fence-sitter :D and would have to see it in the flesh.

  6. The mirrors are not “original”, they came black but the yellow were available to order. Last MoT expired 2017 which lines up with being ‘in the house’ for 4 years. Not sure why Graham is using Anita’s eBay account to sell the bike. Andy

  8. yeah spotted those.

price wise for an otherwise standard Sps , reasonable money or not ? It’s going to need a belt service as they were last done 4 years ago but under a 100 miles ago.

  9. Every man and his dog wants carbon fiber Termignoni's as opposed to stock ones.

  10. I would love a 350 and could afford one. But I don't get the gig because I am stupid. So, you have a 350 in the garage for about 40 years and one day in a fit of boredom, you get out to the garage, remove the bike's gear lever, whilst uttering an oath about the fucking thing whilst tossing the offending item into next door's garden. And if a genuine gear lever is easily available, you don't buy one to fit it, thus removing any suspicion, uit just mention it in the ad, meaning that the bike can't be test ridden or even statically checked that all of the gears work.

Good job that I don't do eBay anymore, for I am not bright enough.

  11. Yes a bit like being married for forty years and not getting the odd occasion weekend shag.

  12. I like the look of that - easy to replace mirrors/lenses. CF Termis are what you’d want anyway (probably very easy to pick up standard ones for MOT/resale).
Price doesn’t look stupid (for these days), mileage pretty low. Easy to do a belt change etc.
See if there’s any rocker history - can’t remember the valve service interval - it may not have had one yet?

  13. Thanks, turns out they came with carbon Termi’s from what I’ve read up.

when I asked about rockers and if they had been checked, he replied with ‘no inspection carried out since last service’.

All other info seems ok so far. Might be worth a trundle up to have a look at it.
