  4. DSCF0026.JPG I've got a Kuberg Hero for sale that would suit, ideal for his first ride, electric, 2hr charge and fits in the boot of a car; absolute hoot! It is my wee girls but she has outgrown it. Mind you, you'd have to get ti irvine to collect...

  5. After some consideration I've put down a deposit on one of these.....

The Oset MX-10 Junior. Cool video here

I've not told the wife yet and I'll probably not tell her until I wheel it out of the van after collection. Always the best way in my book, especially if the kids are there too so she can't verbally abuse me :joy:

I'll look to get spare wheels with slicks so i can take him on the Kart track too.

Not sure who's more excited, him or me?

  7. I'm looking to buy my little lady something also , i don't know if an electric balance bike would be wasted on her as she's already that good on a pushbike , but it would help with throttle control.

I think i will go electric pit/ motocross bike style , anyway, sorry for thread pic bombardment but here goes , look at that smile everytime

  9. Great photos.

I've gone elctric so i have more places to go without upsetting people, local fields, woods, footpaths etc with an occasional dirt track of kart track thrown in for good measure.

Let us know what you go for in the end.

  11. Bit the bullet and bought a new Oset MX-10. Awesome bit of kit and very fast. My son (6) absolutely loves it and first ever go on the bike was flat stick everywhere....go on son!!!

I've found that you fit slicks to these wheels so that will allow us to go on kart tracks too!! Can't wait :D

  17. My old man wouldn't sign the forms for me to have a DT175 on my 17th birthday, he said I was too reckless. And with hindsight, he was right. When I remember kids I knew that didn't make it out of their teens, and how close I came to being one of them, I'm glad mine had no interest in bikes. Obviously I shouldn't judge youngsters now, by my totally untrained early riding, but there's still risk attached today.

  18. DT175 my first 'big' bike. wrote it off in colchester high st so your old man was probably right :)

  19. One day grandad I will be able to reach the pedals but I’d rather have a pony 0965283B-5A72-488A-A4B3-CBAD09309C56.jpeg
