  1. Evening all,

Would anyone have one of the above in reasonable condition kicking about?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Coose. :)

  2. Still looking, thanks.

  3. they're generally not much for a new one

  4. M12 are for peanuts, M10 not so....

  5. Thanks. The head on the stainless bolt is too large to allow a socket to fit, and the socket head bolt will rust as soon as you look at it.
    Thanks anyway. :):upyeah:

  6. I don't think a 12.9 Grade bolt will rust any more than the std fitting, besides, other bolts are available, that was just an example.

  7. Beware the thread pitch

  8. I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be critical, it's just that the black finish isn't particularly corrosion resistant.
You are absolutely correct, other bolts are available but I'm trying to source an original if I can first.

  10. Hi,

I bought this Titanium motor bolts for my 999:

Titanium M12 x 1.25 Taper Head Bolts Cone 1.25mm Fine Pitch
    Length: 250mm
    https://www.ebay.de/itm/323985386368

Not cheap but the seller is from the UK.

...99,9% of all screws and nuts on my bikes are Titanium ... can't stand corroded screws and love the material :)

    Best,

    Andreas

Not the bolts, but a picture from the valve cover nuts on the 999: Titanium in the front vs. OEM in the back ...
