Me and @Cream_Revenge are there tomorrow. Hoping the only thunder is on the track (bit corny, sorry).
I almost picked up that one that was for sale for tomorrow, but it was novice plus if I duck out of any more work meetings for track days last minute, I'll get sacked and have zero track days . There again on 26th Eve (predicted rain) and 20th Aug... fingers crossed. Hope you both have a good day tomorrow
Few laps from Oulton last week. Was my first time here so be nice . This truly was a shock to the system for the first 3-4 sessions. Pics/videos just don't capture how much of a rollercoaster track this is. Chap on Blue bike is a mate of mine so was following the first lap.
Subject to a plague of frogs/locusts/insert anything here, I am off to Val de Vienne & Le Mans next week.
Was going to go myself but sod isolating and the carney seemed a faff about. I know NL have sorted that now
Donnington on Wednesday, really happy with the bike, but it felt really loose from mid session onwards, not sure if the tyres (rosso corsa 2) were getting too hot with ambient temps of 29 degree's, or whether the suspension needs some thicker oil to be able to stand the heat and not pump, otherwise the bike was perfect. I am a bit big at 6ft, the V2 definitely has more room to get further back on the seat.
Looks good Phill. I had Rosso Corse 2’s on at Ducati day last year, about 32 degrees. They were fine then and I have run them subsequently at Silverstone when it reached a max air temp of 8 degrees
Snetterton last night before the imploding exhaust put a stop to the last session. Most dry time at Snett all year . I like and hate watching footage back. You always see so many faults you don't notice riding. Seemed to struggle with the corner going into the back straight and too slow into the bomb hole in particular. Bast lap indicated 2:06.9 so let's say 2:07. I think there is an "easy" 2 seconds or so I can gain just from better lines.
Oulton on Weds last week, never quite clicked with it. Incredibly hard work! Then Donington national today.
