Paid for bike to be shipped to Mugello, fired up credit card and booked flights, Metzerler slicks from germany, brake pads from UK because its a bucketlist track
Plumbing for a client this morning, viewed another small job plus collected some parts for the bikes etc.
Drove to Tonbridge with my Son to repair a box van, all the parts weren’t on site. Got back in van and decided to visit Battle and the site of the battle between Will and Harry hordes. On the way back stopped at the route 1066 cafe for a bite to eat, then drive home 9 hours of driving for no achievement.
Today is our last day in Northumberland, and I’ve not done a lot. I have walked down to the beach though to watch the grandchildren playing in the sand dunes. Later I’ll be sorting out my stuff to ride on to Scotland tomorrow morning for a long weekend whilst SWMBO heads home in the car
Cleaning the block face on the Stag engine, cleaning the tops of the pistons too. Hopefully the refurbed head will be here on Saturday but more like Monday, then need to refit. Have all the parts I need (I think) need to get it sorted for Thursday to take my son to his prom!
As SWMBO heads south to spend a couple of nights with some friends before heading home on Sunday, I’m heading off to Scotland to ride around the west coast with 34 other like minded Ducatisti including my mate @bettes. And hopefully meeting up with @finm on Sunday too
Made a big mistake this morning, thought I’d pop to my local COSTCO to look at a washing machine they had on offer. Mmmm, what did I forget ? It’s pay day ! Bloody place is heaving, 6 to 8 trollies waiting at each of 10 tills and 20 trollies waiting in a queue for their purchases to be checked before being able to leave the warehouse. And to cap it all, they’d sold out of the washing machines I was interested in Andy
My son's off too Costco later for a few bits, been trying to get a few packs of the yellow microfibre cloths keep selling out perfect and cheap cloths also the large packets of cookies they make
