  1. I've got another Cherry red sat at the dealers.

Another 8 of various colours on order.

  2. Like it! Nice rims

  3. Ah fuck it, here’s mine. Not hugely exciting but I like it. It’s actually a 19 plate. Got £6k off list due to some sales target bollox. I did look them up before I pulled the trigger and it was indeed a seemingly good deal….

  10. Noice!!

I was talking to my brother the other day and he was telling me the van market is super buoyant right now. He’s just bought a Crafter to convert to camper.

  11. Congratulations!
Dumb question. How easy/quickly to remove rear seats and in what format (individually/pairs etc)?

  12. Congrats !

  13. Piece of piss. If there’s 2 of you :D

Well that’s how it is with my Vito. I’d imagine it’s the same with the Transporter.

  14. I have the 3 into one rear seat. You literally just pull a cord and the backs collapse flat, then onto the rear, pull another cord and the whole shebang tilts forward and you can remove. Theyre weighty though. But they slide out easily enough.

This will be gone once I fit a Riemo vario rock n roll bed.

Wifey was out camping with her crusty fem mates at weekend and if she can shift it easy enough anyone can.

  15. Yeah I’m told it’s all quick release so hopefully do-able on my own, and when I take one bike I can always leave the single seat in there.

I was looking at leisure batteries and stuff last night but in honesty for a good few months I’ll just use it as is and try to pay it off! I did spot some aftermarket speaker cables though so possible it’s got some speaker spaces in the back that need filling but will see when I get it

  16. For basics, get some led strip lights and fit to any vehicle battery you have laying around.

  17. Use the T6 forum. Dellmassive on there posts How To threads for leisure battery etc. Inc equipment etc. I did mine, its easy. But yes, pay it off first lol. All mine is under drivers seat. Travelvolts on T6 forum is the guy to look out for there for parts and battery etc.

We've saved another chunk up now and just need to get poptop and RnR bed done, then I can extend the power, add sockets and sort out the interior lighting.

For HiFi look for Absolut5 on the T6 forum. I got a nifty kit of speakers and small 400W kenwood mini amp via him. Fitting was a doddle and now I have some bass. The OEM tweeters are prob sourced from Cuba and were used to fragment the brains of diplomats.

Ive retained the OEM discovery unit. I dont want to sound like a chavv, but want a reasonable sound. It works nicely.

Edit: Invest in a set of decent plastic panel removal tools...https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=panel+removal+tools&ref=nb_sb_noss_1

  18. I used to take the twin seat out when transporting the bike but it is weighty and cumbersome on your own.

  19. I have a crap swivel seat in my garage. I position it to accept one end of the seat, then use t'other end to move it into my garage. Anything with wheels about 800mm high should do the trick.
