Multi 1260s Preload Setup

  2. You have to have the ignition on when testing? The suspension is, IIRC, pretty well locked solid with it off.

  4. First proper ride since fettling, excuse for a coffee in Bourton-on-the-Water, beautiful day for riding. Given today is the first day we're really allowed out, that's the way I've read it anyway, the roads are pretty clear. Precious few bikes out, maybe I've got it wrong?

    Anyway, the four and a half turns of preload have frankly transformed the front end on my 1260s Multistrada when compared to the less than one turn I've been riding around on for two years... :rolleyes: Will see how it goes and maybe add more if I feel it's justified.

  5. I may be rubbish at searches on here as i cant find the post you speak of. Could you give me a pointer?

  7. Yeah bike seems ok but I'm not the fastest rider out there anyway and didn't think it was a huge difference to how it was. Maybe I'm not riding hard enough lol.
