AFAIK Esso still pull their fuel from Ellesmere Port if they do you may be in luck, not all Esso SuperUnleaded is Ethanol free. When it is Esso have pulled it from their main stocks and not the Fuel suppliers pool stock at outlying depots. It varies, the more North you go the less likely it will be ethanol free. All Esso pumps are still marked as E10 even when no Ethanol is present. Confusing ain’t it.
New set of Brembo SC/SR pads for Pani. I noticed i got about 1mm left before I hit the line. So prob best to really.
Replacement tank arrived from Pro Twins and I must say it’s in better condition than I thought it would be. I emailed Pro products USA to enquire about the resistance of Pro15 and the dreaded ethanol Seemingly they have ethanol in their gas for quite some time with no negative results and they assured me it has a good resistance to alcohol the active ingredient in ethanol. I’ll start on the Pro15 process over the next couple of days, then it’ll be ready for decals and a respray Might even get it back on the road before summer ends…… oh hang on!
Silly question Anthony, but your existing one can that be saved in anyway longterm by a gifted metal fabricator.
Not really. Esso webpage gives a fairly good breakdown of their products to buy if you want to avoid Ethanol. It is region dependant, but thats pretty clear too. Have a look?
Read it, depends how you define the North unless they’re rewritten it with more prescribed areas that aren’t Ethanol free.
Looks very nice. Can you let us know how it feels when you’ve had a ride. I’m sure others besides myself would like to know. Also a full picture of the bike with them fitted would be great to see.
Need to order a new front tyre for the Scrambler in readiness for my trip to Wales. Had the rear changed for Scotland a month ago. Also going to treat myself to some new leather jeans from Sportsbikeshop
Tyre, wheel or tyre and wheel ? The Metzeler Roadtec 01SE is an awesome tyre (on my ‘12 Multistrada). Looking good Andy
New wheels, new tyres, (of which I currently have on my old wheels and yes they're great tyres) and new upgraded front discs and pads
