Random 'ducati' Picture Thread

Yeah, not very subtle are they!

Question's what were Ducati thinking at that time, oh hang on a minute..........the very expensive add on catalogue.

 

About as subtle as a brick through a jewelry shop window.

I snapped this shot at Ray Petty Mechanica before Covid.

Two Ducati’s, my 996R and an Egli framed 900ss in the distance, mixing it with two custom bikes.


One with a JAP engine, the other a Moto Guzzi Le Mans.

And an odd round case motor sat on the bench.

Something for everyone’s taste.

 

I have never been there but i did bump into one of his Italian technicians a couple of years ago with his girlfriend both on Ducati Monsters in Sussex somewhere.

 

That looks like an early square case motor to me??? The flywheel and camshaft support blocks are certainly square case.

When I was there there was more than one and def a round case on the shelf.

That triple eight comes up as unknown on the government web page, also with no mot's listed.

 

Was last on the road in Sept 1998. Its sorned.
