  1. Let's hope he's good with his hands.;)

  2. What's it with customers these days, i've just replaced a cold water storage tank 3/4 ball valve feed but in a very confined loft space , but they've another walkin loft area which would'd made life easier for me if they'd installed the tank there in the first place.: unamused:

  9. On a mini tour of the South on Hermann, seeing some cousins to show them family photos from about 100yrs ago. Bristol to Bournemouth, Southampton & now in Brighton staying with my daughters before Oxted, then Newbury then home. Now in a hipster cafe waiting for my smashed avocado & poached egg and good coffee. Staycation time....
Visited my old favourite hang-gliding site, Devil's Dyke, yesterday. Bit of a wide-loaded Hermann made filtering a challenge!

  11. Spent all morning faffing around on the internet getting all the required information sorted to fly out to Barcelona on Sunday. Still lots to do in the final 48 hours before we leave but got a list of things to do written up and ready to start crossing things off. Decided to reward myself for my endeavours and fired up the bread maker, cheese and bacon stuffed wholemeal, proving as I type. Doctor’s appointment at 2pm, which I’m not looking forward to as it will involve poking implements down my throat :confounded: Andy

  13. Oxted Surrey, i've just seen about 30/40 minutes ago a spitfire carry out a half a loop maneuver over the Oxted area which was nice on this non-descript weatherwise day.

  15. @Ducbird, apparently I have an inflamed Uvula which I have been prescribed a nasal spray for. Bread was ready when I got back, just waiting for it to cool a bit so I don’t burn my inflamed Uvula :joy: Andy

  16. I had to google that :grinning:
I never knew there was something other than the epiglottis you learn something new every day

  19. the Spitfire et al restoration place at Biggin is well worth an afternoons visit when you are at a loose end.
When I went they also had an ME109 underway which the owner didn’t want photos taken of.
